Adding a Timeline and Phases is especially useful for projects lasting more than a few weeks, adding an additional level of organization to your project and enabling multiple payouts over the course of the project.
- A Timeline is created using the start and end dates of your project.
- The Timeline is broken down into date based Phases.
- Phases are made up of 1-10 Tasks to be completed during the associated Phase.
- Completion of all Tasks in a Phase builds an invoice for that Phase, sent to the Homeowner automatically upon the completion of all Tasks in the Phase.

Multiple Payout Project Features
A payment made by the Homeowner to the Contractor to get the project started.
Work to be completed by the Contractor for a specified cost, then approved by the Homeowner. Tasks are tied to Phases.
Phases consist of a set of work to be completed (1-6 Tasks) over a set period of time (1-3 weeks). Phases automatically create invoices once all Tasks in a Phase are complete.
A project Timeline is automatically created based on the start and end dates of all Phases in a project.
Generated automatically once all Tasks in a Phase have been completed (by the Contractor) and approved (by the Homeowner), then sent by the Contractor to the Homeowner for payment.

- Deposit Amount
- Summary of Work
Your Summary of Work may consist of the To Do’s and the budget for each task outlined in your signed contract. If you don’t have all of these on-hand, our team can help you put it together in order to have all of your information tracked inside the app.
The estimate being sent to the client is enough information for our team. Depending on how you set up the work, we can adjust our structure to make it work in the app.
How long does it take to add multiple payouts to my project?
Once we receive the information requested, your Punch List project will be set up within 1-2 business days. You’ll receive a confirmation email from Punch List when we are ready to begin your project!
